In 1992, Dr. David Mitchell started Mitchell Dental Clinic. After running his own practice, Dr. Mitchell understood that most dentists started their career because they love helping patients – and unfortunately, running a practice often comes with other administrative, logistical, and business duties that fill up a dentist’s schedule and hamper their ability to care for patients. Dr. Mitchell started to hire associates to solve that problem, and since then, Mitchell Dental Clinic has grown into an outstanding organization with 3 different office locations, providing patients with the highest quality, most comfortable dental care in a relaxing state-of-the-art environment.
The Mitchell Dental Clinic team is a tight-knit family of doctors, hygienists, administrative professionals and dental assistants who work together to give their patients the best care and to help every member of the team grow and thrive. What are you looking for in a doctor?
We are looking for doctors who are open and positive, with high integrity and focus on providing their patient’s the best possible care available. Additionally, we hope that each doctor shares a similar passion in pursuing constant and never ending improvement by participating in available continuing education opportunities and training events.
What makes Mitchell Dental Clinic different from other opportunities?

How much autonomy do I have as an associate doctor?
Mitchell Dental Clinic’s associate doctors have control in diagnosing and creating treatment plans for their patients. With highly trained staff at your side, each doctor will diagnose and treat patients, and the staff will take care of all the rest. No financial advising, insurance knowledge, or payment collecting.
How are associate doctors paid?
Associate doctors are paid based off of their experience and production.
As a Mitchell Dental associate, you will receive a base rate that is set during your training.
The starting rate is $600 to $900 daily, with bonuses.
Mitchell Dental’s goal is to have every doctor making $1000 a day.
Can I transition to another office at some point?
Yes, we have 3 locations from the Golden Triangle to the Central part of Mississippi, so transitions are possible. We do prefer associate doctors to stay in their original location/locations for a minimum of one year before transferring.
What will my office hours be?
Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30am to 5:15pm. Depending on associate’s schedules and availability, doctors may work 1 to 5 days a week or 2 to 3 times a month. Dr. Mitchell will work a schedule out with you that best fits each office and each doctor’s needs.
